When I'm working hard and living life (may be sometimes not the first part), time flys by quickly.
I've been working personally a lot on design and learning how to use my tools better such as Photoshop, GIMP and Illustrator. Many of these following shots will have a lot of enhanced coloring that you might see in an application like Hipstamatic, but done under greater control in Photoshop or GIMP.
Since I've had a lot going on and a lot shuffling around, I haven't had time to take much photos so I don't have a whole lot. Work and play's been the priority. I guess I also have pictures of people which I wouldn't really want to share on this blog...
Recent realization: being in office all day drive you crazy. Going to the parks can be very refreshing.
Going outside is a lot harder now though. It's been getting a lot colder lately around here actually. It rained cats and dogs the last few days. The above picture is a contrast to what it really looks like outside right now.
Unfortunately, being outside is one of the few things that really helps me cure of the disease of the computer screen. Even then I have my smartphone which ties me to all of my e-mail and information. Maybe I should leave it behind in the car next time I go for a walk in the park.
Time to start wearing flannel and rain jackets again. Being able to go outside on a sunny day is pretty much a gift from Earth.
Besides working and taking a few pictures, I've been discovering more music on soundcloud. One of the fine musicians that I found recently was Shook.
His music is fun and upbeat so it helps after the Sun goes down at 4PM.
Here's a sample:
I enjoy listening to his music during my coding sessions. Again, free stuff rules!
